For kanekalon braids, I won't be doing them very thin, maybe a pencil or pen size. I usually use 1 1/2 packs of human hair, is it the same for synthetic? Thanks in advance

depending on how thick your hair is. i can use 1 1/2 packs of human fo r braids..but like 6 packs of kanekalon

really? interesting. ive always found that human hair and synthetic fibers react differently when compacted for braiding. *shrug* guess everyone is different!
