I am starting to get fustrated because I see all of your beautiful hair and think to myself, MY hair will never get that long:nono: Then I have to stop myself and tell myself, hey I just started 9-11-07! So I guess what I am trying to ask is- how long did it take you to reach APL and BSL and how long do you guess it would take me by looking at my siggy. Any help would be great TY in advance:spinning:

I started in December from two inches and am now almost at shoulder length. Looking at your pictures, it seems to me that you are making good progress.

Patience is all. Well, pateince and a good, consistent regime. Well, and quality products that work for you. And well, pateince ;)

I started last September. I was a little below APL. Now I'm at MBL. Keep up your healthy hair care regimen and the length will come.

ETA: From your October pic, one year should put you below APL.

If you do everything right, I think that you could reach bra strap length in about a year.

Your hair looks healthy, and seems to be growing at a great rate.

It might help to take a vacation from LHCF so that you won't think too much about everyone else's progress.

Girl, patience isn't my strong point either :nono:
From looking at your siggy, it looks like your doing great on progress. :yep:

It took me about 7-8 months to go from SL to APL. It took about the same time to touch the top of bra strap. I started around August 2006. Find a simple regimen early and stick with it so it becomes automatic. Just keep doing the same thing over and over and keep going about your daily business. Don't obsess over the fact you think it's not going to grow. If anything obsess over the opposite. Your hair is growing anyway so simplicity is key to retaining length. Don't worry, you'll get there!! Enjoy your journey:yep:!

I thank you all for your kind words and I will keep up my reggie and hope for the best, I figure I will give myself atleast a year and then see whats happening.

Make sure you take pics every few months or so. That's what I do and keep them on my camera phone for instant motivation, when I feel as if this stuff isn't growing really.
Also, protective styling is key, for me... It ensures that I retain every single smidgen of NG along with my current attained growth.
Keep a journal if you like, on what you did with your hair, or how u feel about your hair.
Also, hopefully you are taking vitamins.
Lastly, try to gauge from your progress pics how long it got you to get were ur at in inches and then calculate how many months it will take you to get to your goal. It's fun and then you will at least know the time frame of when you will be APL...BSL..WSL, instead of just waiting in limbo.

I agree...I hung out mostly on the health and fitness board for the first half of this year and just let my hair do its thing and it flourished.

I think u can make APL in about 8 months. Just think of it this way, time is going to pass regardless, so in 8 months to a year you could have long hair or it could be exactly the same length.

I feel the same way!!!! It's hard to think about it, but I think I'll take a break from LHCF and give it a month, with my consistent regiment...your hair growth is beautiful, I cut mine to nape length in October, and it's already almost to the bottom of my neck, I'm getting a little happy about that! You'll make it!

Your hair grew tons in only 1 month... I just started at the end of october, it hasn't even been a month and I keep checking in the mirror like did it grow yet. But like my grandmother says "a watched pot never boils" or something like that. So try not to think too much about it....i've been trying to focus on healthy hair over long hair. :ohwell: maybe that'll help u too!

Must say i'm with you on this one but what everyone is saying is right. U have to be consistent and not watch your hair for it to show progress so happy growing!

Thanks for all the input. I have been protective stylimg and trying not to check my length every minute, but it's hard out here for a pimp.:lachen::lachen:
