How long should you do a Hot Oil Treatment?

I've got some Hot Six Oil and I wanted to try to use this for a hot oil treatment. How long would you normally condition with hot oil under the dryer? I want good conditioning and moisture cause my hair dries out easily so I want to make sure it penetrates well. Any suggestions are welcome...thank

I usually leave mine on for at least 30 minutes...longer when I have time. I want the oil to really penetrate the hair shaft so I try to leave it in a bit longer. I have left it in for an entire day once and got wonderful results.

I leave it on long enough to thorougly detangle my hair, then for a few more minutes

i dont do them..they never seem to benefit my hair

If I can I do them over night...but if I can't then I sit under the dryer for 30 minutes w/a plastic conditioning cap or I stick a towel in the dryer then wrap the hot towel around the conditioning cap...I do the hotoil treatments before I wash because it seems more beneficial this way...
