at least two weeks I would think and you should definately do a good protein treatment before u put the weave-in...

As soon as you have a nice amount of newgrowth. 4 weeks is desirable if you want your cornrows to have more strength.

Thanks for the responses. I am currently 12 weeks post realxer and I was thinking about getting a weave in about 2 weeks, or I was going to relax this week and wait until July or maybe August for the weave.

What type of weave were you thinking about getting? Some weaves look better with newgrowth, like kinky/curly weaves.

I wanted it to be straight

Ohh. Well, don't wait longer than 4 weeks post touch-up. This should save you some stress on blending newgrowth with the straight weave. If your hair grows fast, you may consider getting it a little sooner than 4 weeks, but definitely not before 2 weeks.
