Should I get a relaxer, or stretch it out????

I want to get a sew in weave (the curly weave) for the summer, just for the months of june, july, and the first week of august. I am a college student and I want to get it done before summer semester starts. I will be at 10 weeks post relaxer when I plan on getting the weave. The reason why I want weave is to get more growth so that I can cut off my thin ends and just even out my hair. So the question that I want to ask is, should I get a perm and then get the weave in, or should I should just try to stretch it out and see how much newgrowth I will get (that is really what I want to do).

If you are getting a weave anyway, I would just wait for the relaxer. No need for it if its going to be braided up. Just keep it moisturized! :)

I agree, plus the fresh relaxer with a weave may add extra stress.
