I take Centrum Silver Chewables, Biotin, B Complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Flax & Fish Oil..but I was taking those before the site b/c I heard about what it can do for people with diabetes/pre-diabetes..well, except for the biotin. It was on sale on day at target for a dollar, and I bought a bunch.

Have only been taking them for a week though

I've been taking mine for just over six months, and i don't know what my results are (other than MSM was making my face break out) because my hair improvement could be attributed to different things. But the vitamins certainly must be helping my overall health!

Currently:
GNC UltraNourishair
Primrose/Flaxseed Oil

In the Past:
MSM 1500 (stopped because of breakouts)
Futurebiotics HSN (stopped to try GNC brand)

I've taken flaxseed, primrose, and har, skin, nails (off and on) for coule years now........I recently added MSM and just ordered silica tonite.

I've been taking vitamins since February and I'm pleased with my results so far :) I haven't been taking this week because I'm trying to get over this cold.

I've been taking hair vitamins for about two months, consistently taking a multivitamin for about 6 months.
I don't know what sort of results I'm getting from them - I know that the MSM is definitely making working out easier, so that's going to be a constant in my book - and the Omega 3/6/9 pills are just good for your overall health. The biotin I've only been taking for about a month - and besides the occasional breakout when I don't drink enough water with it, I've had no complaints.
I honestly can't tell whether anything is having an effect on my hair, as I started taking the supplements at the same time that I started to pay attention to my hair.

I've been taking vitamins on and off for years and recently added hair
supplements. I've learned the hard way with the hair vitamins.. took one
on an empty stomach and it made me sooo sick.

I originally started with Shen Min hair vitamins and biotin 8 months ago, then I replaced the Shen Min with nixon vitamins, biotin 5mg, epo, b50 complex about 3 months ago AND I just added silica about 4 days ago...I am going to add a multi-vitamin and vitamin E once I decide which brand I want:)

Just wondering how long, I have been taking mine for 6 mos, with wonderful results.

i have taken mine for 1 year and 4months with great results except viviscal which is new to my regimen but it can only enhance it. I already get excellent results from the rest. The problem with me is sticking with what works i m a pj so i love trying new stuff. Most of the stuff i used worked but i decided to just stick this year to my main vits that give me the most growth

I started MSM in March of this year and drinking nettle herbal tea even more recently. Any other vitamins or supplements I was taking before my hair care, for my overall health.

Dayummmmm:eek:   i m ot but seriously Isis your hair in your sig is just like wow!!!!! i would love to touch it its beauuuuuuuuutiful and long:D :) :p

I've only been on my hair growing mission for 2 months now
I'm taking Omega 3/6/9, Holland & Barrett Mega Vitamins for Hair and Biotin.
I can't see any significant changes in my hair yet but I've heard you should wait 3 months to see a real difference. My fingernails are looking fab and are really strong. So here's hoping my hair follows suit soon.

I've been consistent with it for about 8 months now. Over that period Ive added several that I consider my "staples". Flaxseed, Biotin, Horsetail, Fishoil, and GNC HSN. I cant single out any one in particular and attribute to my progress because my hair practices overall are more healthy. However, I will say that this is the healthiest my hair has been in 10 yrs, its growing, I'm no longer seeing significant breakage (which I used to get at least 2x a year).

Long story short - I will continue taking vits&supps, period.

I have been taking my vitamens for about 3 weeks now. I have noticed a huge increase in energy levels and ability to focus. My multivitamin is a twice a day one. I haven't been taking them long enough to see a difference with my hair but hopefully I will soon.

I've been taking vitamins for almost 20 years but I just recently (Feb 2006) started 'healthy haircare' so now that I know how to properly retain my ends I'll have crazy long hair soon. :p

I just started taking vitamins this week. So far so good.

The only bad thing will be traveling with all those little bottles!

I don't know how long you travel for at one given time but I went on a trip for a week and I just put a weeks supply of vitamins in a baggie.

Thanks Marie, I think I will do that for my shorter trips. :yep:

I think Im going to start taking vitamins again
when I was taking them I took a multi, flax, msm, and biotin
my skin was clear as all get out and my nails were super long and strong I got some good growth too

I just started a few days ago. I am going to take for a 4 months and see if there are any results.

I've been taking them for almost 6 months. I think this has helped with my shedding because I lost thickness, but not my length.

I have been taking them for a little over a year. Hair isn't shooting out of my scalp or anything...I just figure that I nourish my self from the inside to assist with my hair growing

Newbie in da house! Has anyone ever heard of Fast Grow by Exotic Allure? They're vits specifically for ethnic/nubian hair. Anyway, I tried those at the beginning of the year and got decent results and far as hair and nail growth. Had I found LHCF when I discovered Fast Grow, who knows where my hair could have been by now.

I only take one pill and it works when you take it consistently. Other than that, nothing will happen. I highly suggest Phytophanere Hair and Nail Supplements. Yes, it's fifty dollars, but it works. I can vouch for that.
