Seems like it takes me for ever! My hair seems to be too thick for me. I was natural for 3 years and then relaxed hoping that would make it thinner and easier to manage fast. Now I miss my natural hair and am seriously thinking about transitioning...again. (This time no BC) But I just feel like either way it's going to take a long period of time to wash and set whether I'm natural or relaxed! My SO has waistlength gorgeous 2a (I guess) hair and all he does is co-wash every morning slap some gel in it and go. Why does everything have to be an ORDEAL for me!? I don't want to spend more that 5 minutes on my hair everyday...can I be helped or do I have to shave it off??

Yesterday I washed, conditioned, blowdried and flatironed in about 80 minutes. When I set it, it takes me about 25 minutes to roll it and between 1 - 1.5 hours under a Pibbs dryer - depending upon what products I used when I rolled it.

It usually takes me about 4 hours, but If I didn't procrastinate it would probably only take me 3hrs & 15 mins.

It takes 4.5 now. 1.5 housrs to wash, rinse, deep condition, rinse and detangle.

1.5 hours to rollerset.

2.5 hours to dry. I'm hoping that buying a Pibbs will help reduce drying time by an hour.

It takes a while, so that's why I'm opposed to washing more than once weekly.
