How long do your braid/twist outs last?

I thought I was getting a hang out of it but my styles seem to only look good for the most 3 days.....

How about you? I would like to know how you get it to last longer.

I have a little advice about my braidouts. Anyhoo I like to do the loose plait braidouts because the're easy. I wash then do 9 plaits. The next day my braidout is ok. Then I rebraid and rewet with water and creamy leave- in mixture that night and my braidout comes out PERFECT and IMAO would last maybe five days. I think rebraiding is the trick. hth

Yep...rebraiding/retwisting...is what keeps it going.

If it's really humid my braid outs/twist outs last for 1 day, so I have to redo them everyday.
Otherwise they usually last for 2-3 days.

4 days at the most, and I dont rebraid..
My hair is weak right now, so I do a braid out (usually 2 french braids)
wear it out two days (at night I put my hair in a high pony)
Day 3 and 4 I put on a headband and my hair in a pony and thats that

No, it's isn't necessary, IMO. I've never worried about getting it in the same part as before.

Mine look good for 3 days, sometimes 4, and I don't rebraid. I tried the whole rebraiding my hair dry with leave-in and didn't like it, so it's back to washing and re-braiding every 3-4 days.

My braidouts last about 3 days. I usually rebraid to keep the waves looking nice and wash/cowash on the 3rd day.

3 days?! With this humidity I'm lucky to get a braidout to last a full 8 hours.

My braidouts last for 5 days sometimes I can push to 7, the key is to use a light hold before you loose them out, nexxus comb thru works great for hold. don't spray alot just a little will go a long way.

Mine lasts 28 hours. After that, it is frizzy.

3 days max with my braidouts, but if I flat twist for a twist out it lasts 5 days. But on the fifth day, I add a headband.

I also lightly scrunch my braidout with a product that's made for holding curls. That helps it hold up good on humid days.
