How long do you stay under the hooddryer for a rollerset?

The longest I went was almost 45 minutes, then I gave up.:ohwell:

seemed to long, but how long is realistic to get good results?

My hair is SL and for it to get completely dry, it takes me 1 hr 15 mins. Also I have a gold n hot hooded dryer. Hoping to get a Pibbs tho!:yep::yep:

As far as good results, you have to sit under there until it's completely dry to get good results. I'm usually under there for an hour and a half sometimes a little more, sometimes less....it depends. I just go online while I'm on there and it goes by faster.

I stay under my bonnet dryer for about 45 minutes, just to get a head start on airdrying. I never stay under there until I'm completely dry :nono:. I prefer to finish by airdrying.

ITA, about 1hr 30 - 1hr 45. Hopefully, the Pibbs fairy will visit soon. :) :fairy:

ETA: I usually have my laptop handy to pass the time.

I'm shoulder length and use a Pibbs. I stay under for about 30 to 35 minutes. For you ladies in waiting for a Pibbs all I can say is "YES!!!" It's the best hair purchase I've ever made.

Hour and a half. My stylist always tries to put me under the "hot" dryer but it's still the same time. I read or go online and sometimes I just sit there!!!

In the past when I used a bonnet dryer and depending on the length of my hair, it sometimes took 2.5 hours to dry my hair :wallbash: But now it typically takes my even collar bone length hair 45 to 50 minutes to dry using my Pibbs 514 dryer set on 55 degrees.

In order to ensure that my hair dries evenly when I rollerset, I part each section no wider than half an inch and no longer than 2 inches. I do end up using a lot of rollers because my hair is thick but my natural hair comes out really straight - not flat iron straight but straight enough for me. :look: I imagine that if I turned up the heat on the dryer my hair would dry faster but I can't tolerate the heat under the hood any higher than 60 degrees.

hot tools 1059 dryer: dries in about 65 minutes w/ soaking wet hair on high
pro tools soft bonnet dryer (from wal-mart): 4 hours... that thing SUCKS!!!

I have a Sally's Ion Hooded Dryer and I have to stay under the dryer for a little over two hours to have dry hair. The time actually varies depending on what size rollers I use (my hair is bra clasp length). I am usually on LHCF when I am under the dryer so time flies by. HTH.

I have one of those salon hooded dryers that looks like an "Airheads" shape. That takes 50 minutes with Diane grey magnetic rollers. I used to have a regular hooded one, but it was taking 1.5 hours and I just couldn't take it anymore.

1 1/2 - 2hrs with a soft bonnet dryer. I'm natural, APL-BSBish and use 1 3/4" mesh rollers.

With my Pibbs it takes 40 minutes with the temperature at 60, I am currently APL. I purchased the Pibbs years ago, because I had another dryer that took too long to dry my hair and grew tired of wasting my time with the table top dryer.
