I know the bottle says to use it only 30 seconds, but I thought I read that some of you ladies leave it on 5-10 minutes?

If you mix it with a DC, do you rinse the DC out earlier?

I use it once a month on dry hair for 10-15 minutes under my dryer. I tried using it as a final rinse but I don't think it was very effective for me that way and I felt like I was using it too often as well.

I use it after the shampoo, and keep it on my hair for as long as I shower, then I rinse and deep condition as usual.

I use it as a final rinse for 30 seconds to about a minute. When I tried mixing it with my deep conditioner it didn't do too well for my hair - didn't feel like it had as much moisture. I use it whenever I feel my hair needs an extra boost, but no more than once a week and no less than once a month.

I also use it 30 secs per the instructions. I rinse the dc then use the pc then do my final rinse.

30 seconds...not playing with that
I've never seen a product where they tell you to leave it for only that small amount of time, so I think it is best to follow instructions.

^Most beauty supply stores sell it (that's wear I always buy it.).

Sally's sells it too. The labeling on the bottle has changed to include some sort of pink strip.

Ohh, I thought that may have happened. Do u know the exact name of the treatment? I picked up the wrong product/ since the conditioner has porosity control on the label as well. Is it Roux Porosity Control 'Treatment'? TIA.

30secs, 1 min max after rinsing out DC. I rinse with cool water. Apply in shower & rinse while in shower.

What is result of leaving it on too long?
What temp water are you all washing with?

30 seconds to 1 minute. I've done eight minutes (no heat) before, and nothing bad happened.

...

At least not for me.
