To get a relaxer after you've dyed your hair? I haven't had a perm since january and I need a perm so bad. BUT, I colored my hair last monday. Let me know how long I should wait. Tankies

I was always told you dont relax a color you color a relaxer. You should have gotten your relaxer first but I think a 2-4 week wait is safe to wait before you get your relaxer. Sorry and I hope this helps.

I agree with Southern Stunner; the relaxer shouldve came first. They say the minimum is 2 weeks, but from experience, I would definitely recommend 3-4 weeks.

It depends on what type of dye you used. If you used something like Bigen, you can relax within a week or so. If you used something harsh with ammonia or peroxide, I would wait 2-3 weeks.
