How Long Do the Effects of a Serum Last?

I know that they seal in moisture. So if I use a serum today, does that mean that the moisturizer that I may use tomorrow may not penetrate my hair?

Good question. Don't know the answer so I'm bumping so some of the experts can answer.

It should last until your next wash. Mine does. I use one to flat iron and then one to finish w/and I don't use any moisturizers in addition to for the rest of the wk. I don't need to.
