How long can you wear braids w/o damage?

What is the longest period of time you have worn your braids w/o damage? I am almost at 2-months. How soon can I put them back in...?

I do the crown & glory method and only wear my hair for 2 months at a time. its about 1-2 weeks before I put them back in. doing this allow me to deep condition my hair and get it ready for my next set of braids! you might want to check it out. www.growafrohairlong.com - a lot of ladies here do the method w/ good success /images/graemlins/smile.gif /images/graemlins/up.gif

I wear cornrows for 3-4 weeks and individual braids no longer than two months with at least 10-14 days in between before I rebraid.
