How Long Between Weaves

Does anyone have any suggestions on the time between weaves? I am getting ready to take out my weave and was curious to know if I should wait a certain amount of time (e.g., a few days, a week) before the next install. What do you do before your next install (e.g., trim, DC, protein)?

I go at least 2 weeks. Since I use aogpb I do it at least 3 or 4x between the time followed by aowc. Once I take down install I do aogpb w/ an egg followed by aowc. I ensure my protein n moisture balance is in check. I also wear mini twist in between installs so I can dust/trim my ends. Hth

Most people recommend 2-4 weeks.

Since I can't think of styles I would like in between the weave I only wait 1-2 days (during which I do restructurer treatments/steam treatments/etc). Since I know this could potentially cause damage to my edges I am careful to leave my edges/baby hair/nape out during each weave install. So far I haven't noticed much thinning, although I am ever vigilant for the slightest signs in between installs lol. Oh, and I baby them A LOT. HTH
