I could be mistaken but it seems like people are using the CHI serums and Neutrogena Silk touch or the IC serum and other similar products as moisturizers ? How are these products moisturizers?

Thanks!

in my world they are not...but some ladies swear by ntm silk touch. I cringe everytime somone says ntm is their moisturizer. To me its nothing but a cone in a bottle.

i dont see how these are moisturizers ether. i use Chi but i use it as a heat protectant and shine serum. nothing more.

My moms stylist recommended that she uses CHI silk infusion as a moisturizer!!! I was shocked! I only use CHI as a serum leave-in before rollersetting.

i can almost garantee that CHI is not a moisturizer. if anything it may add shine but will probably lock moisture out. i use it along with other leave ins before i blowdry and flat iron but never as a straight moisturizer.

NTM silk touch seems to be a fine moisturizer, in my opinion. It is too watery for my taste, but it seems to be a sufficient moisturizer depending on your hair style and moisture needs.

But, the products that are all cones? :nono: I even see them labeled os moisturuzers. Those IC serums like the olive oil one, says that it is for moisture. I don't think do!
