How I Relax My Hair - Part 2 ***Pics***

Your hair has such a beautiful thickness to it you're making great progress. Thank you.

I'm tryna get some insight for my cousin so I have a coupla questions:

Why'd you decide to start texlaxing instead? I saw other ladies here with beautiful results. I think that my braid outs would look better with more texture, as well.

Do you co-wash? What kind of styles do you do when you're deep into your stretch? I do not usually cowash. I have just discovered Hair One and I am in love! I do not stretch.

How long do you usually stretch? I don't stretch. I relax every 7-9 weeks

Doesn't using Phyto get super expensive? Not really. What I do is wait until Phyto has their half off sale every year and purchase 3 boxes for under $100. I only use 1/2 of the kit, so if I relax every two months, these 3 boxes will last the entire year.

Have you ever used Henna to help your stretches? I don't stretch. Although I have used henna before, I haven't done so in quite a while.

I was 9 weeks post.

Your hair is in MUCH better shape and is thicker than my hair was when I joined LHCF. You will see much quicker progress than I saw.

Thank you! I used to get my henna from Hennaforhair.com. Now I get my henna from Khadija at hennasooq.com. They are both good, it just takes hennasooq a little longer to arrive as it is coming from Canada.

I will do a henna and bantu knot out tutorial the first week of October and post pics if you like.
