How far am I from APL?

It's hard to tell with the angle of the pic because your armpit crease isn't showing, but you're definitely close!

It looks like you have about a good three inches and you'll be there. Your sides are a few inches shorter than the middle. Are you trying to achieve a blunt APL? Or are you more concerned with the middle reaching APL first?

Looks to me that you're only 1 or 2 inches off, but when you take pictures, try to keep your arms down, or keep one arm down so that it'll be easier to tell. One thing you can do is grab a bath towel and wrap it around you, under your armpits. Then, take a picture. That would be a good gauge.

Thanks!!! I can't take pictures to save my life. I was trying to hold the mirror in my other hand so I could look in the mirror to make sure I could see my hair. So I have 1-3 inches to APL

Ok. The middle part is a lot closer...you probably have about one to two inches to go if that's the case.

I'm quite anal when it comes to these types of questions. I know that a lot of women here will go with the longest "point" of their hair and claim that length, but I look at the overall appearance. Yes, the middle is about APL almost, but the sides are still right at SL. But that's just me. I do think that ALL of her hair can achieve APL by the end of the year, or maybe sooner.
