I know most of us change it up sometimes but what does your hair feel like in your "go to" everyday styles and what is more comfortable and easy for you???

It feels thick, spongy, and soft. I take the feel of my hair pretty seriously, because how it feels is a great hint of how healthy it is, even before anything like breakage starts.

Mine feels soft and moisturized-but when I need a relaxer-it feels more dry and course...although I don't have course hair....

My hair usually feels really soft and fluffy...but sometimes my ends feel a little dry. But my edges are usually always feeling dry REGARDLESS of what i put on them.:nono:

Most days my hair is kept really moist with full head baggying, but it dries very soft, fluffy, and silky.:lick:

Ditto! No matter how much moisturize my hair when its time for a relaxer ends up being dry and course a few hours later.

My hair feels soft and cool to the touch. If my hair does not feel soft and cool I know I need to moisturize and oil. If moisturizing and oiling does not help that means its time for a wash.

I try to make sure it feels soft and fluffy, like cotton, but moist. :yep: That's bad b/c now I have the dreaded hand-n-hair disease. :nono:

I wet bun daily so half the time it feels wet or damp. When it dries it feels soft and silky and as another person stated, it feels cool to the touch. I guess this is a sign of moisture...

I'm transitioning, and quite frankly trying to balance both relaxed and natural is tough work. My hair as a whole feels alright. It could be better. *shrug*

My natural hair feel pretty soft, but my relaxed hair feels somewhat like wet straw. Ugh.

My hair is wet in the morning and damp throughout the day.
Damp = dry to the touch but the inside of buns/twists are wet/damp.

It's soft unless the air conditioning is really cold. I don't know why.

My hair is not soft to the touch. Ever. It sometimes looks soft, but it's just not.

I have a very coarse texture.

I keep my hair clean, mosturized and oiled. It's not dry or damaged. You don't feel any residue because my hair sucks up everything like a sponge.

I have funny hair. lol

:)

on most days my hair feels soft and fluffy like cotton. i can tell my hair is moisturized but when i touch it i dont have oil on my hands.

I've tried full head baggying but I can not do anything with it come morning as it's too moist to work with or style....how are you styling your hair when full head baggying?

My hair feels smooth and sleek, while I have it up in a bun.
When I first take it down, for the night, it feels damp and lush.
After it dries it feels soft and silky.

I contribute it all to daily co-washes, chi silk infusion and silicon mix!:yep:

most days my hair feels soft and silky, slightly moisturized. If I haven't moisturized the day before, then my hair feels a little more dry

I wasn't really sure what to vote for because my hair feels completely different depending on how it is styled.

I spend about half of my days in a fluffy afro puff, and the other half in a curly wash-n-go.

When I wear the afro puff, my hair usually feels soft, spongy and moist in the mornings. As it dries, it still remains soft and spongy, but it will usually shrink a little, which causes it to feel slightly more dense. Right now I don't use any oils, so it never feels oily or greasy.

When I wear the wash-n-go, my hair usually feels pretty wet most of the day, and often is still pretty damp even when I put on my satin scarf and get ready for bed. I use gel for my wash-n-goes, in the mostly futile pursuit of hard hair! I want the gel to make my hair hard so that I am less tempted to play in it and so that I can get a few extra days out of my style. It usually dries soft anyway, no matter what kind of gel I use. *Le Sigh* :ohwell:

Mine is soft and feels like cotton on most days. Now that I have a texturizer if I put products in it (like moisturizing spray) it feels moist and soft.

I choose damp. Water and my hair are good friends. By the end of the day the scalp is damp still, but the ends are soft.

Smooth, strong, soft and with a lot of elasticity. Every night I check how it feels.

- if it's not 100% smooth and shiny / the curls are separating = I add homemade flaxseed gel

- needs moisture = I add conditioner and 1 drop coconut oil or avocado butter

- I have been moisturizing too much / slightly mushy = I co-wash with a light protein

- very thirsty because it was a sunny and dry day = I give it water / co-wash

- the scalp is starting to feel oily / less elastic hair = I wash and DC

I pay special attention to my ends as I don't want single strand knots.
