Do You Witness at Work and If So, How?

Do you openly witness your faith at work and if you do, how do you do it? Is there a specific time or place that you do it? Are you limited on your job in how you witness your faith/evangelize (stated rules) or do you seize every opportunity during operating hours? Emails, notes, tracts, verbal, prayer, open display of religious items etc.?

I am blessed to be able to witness at any time. I work at a University so how and when can vary. Most times my music is on so it's no secret who I am and who I serve. As for witnessing it can be a student looking for advise who has come to me or me just talking about God and how good He is. I had one student just last week come to me because she is conflicted about something and needed my advise.

There's times when it's just a word from me such as when's the last time you were in church to a full fledge testimony on how good God has been. I'm not afraid of the gospel and I proclaim it every chance I can get.

I'm sorry about that botched title lol. I was multi-tasking at the time. Anybody have restrictions at their job for such activity? Do you think one should or not?

auparavant,
I try to let my biggest witness be my lifestyle. I believe it is possible to make huge statements about hings without saying a word. Largely through non-verbal context. Like not laughing at off-hand jokes:censored:, racist comments (mostly from other AAs:perplexed), etc. Leaving the area when the gossip and back biting starts. Not going to the clubs:blondboob etc for after work activities:beer:. People usually test the waters to see if you are receptive to mess. If you show any interest they go hard. If you don't they get the message and you don't have to say a word. I ask God for wisdom on when to speak, what if anything to say, and when to keep my mouth shut. I believe there is a way and a time for all things. Sometimes people approach me and ask me for advice. Then I take the opportunity. Sometimes I have felt compelled by God to perform a kind gesture (buy lunch, pay for meals in restaurants, buy groceries, give something away on the spot, sow other seeds, etc usually for people I don't know or am not even fond of:look:), smile and say hello, give a brief hug if appropriate, etc to people. Often times, I exhort by giving sincere compliments (even to those I'd rather see going than coming:blush: ) You get the picture I think. The company I work for is huge. There are 1000s of people there at any given hour. Lot's of interesting personalities... God is so concerned with how we treat/ interact with others. One person plants a seed, the next waters, God gives the increase. I have found that when I build rapport with others at work, when their personal disasters strike ( and it eventually will) they are drawn to the God in me. That's when the serious conversations take place. That's when the prayers happen. That's when the change comes. They KNOW I am different. They want to know why I'm calm when stuff is popping off from every angle. Then I make it plain and obvious that it's all GOD and none of me. When they are receptive, I can share my testimony.:yep:

I think that at work we (Christians) are paid to work. That's not a cop out either. It is impossible though to separate or deny the presence of God that is radiating from the inside out. Wisdom is key. Everyone's work settings vary. If you can share tracks and the like without being forceful, go for it. This is how I do me...
