I've been thinking about trying this product, especially after hearing so much about it here. Can anyone please tell me the best way to use this product? I've heard people using it on a roller set, and as a leave in? I would really like some suggestions!

Well in my personal experience I use it after I wash my hair. I have been using it for about a week and a half and I can really tell the difference. It also works well with blow outs, roller sets and air dry method.

Did you get the leave in conditioner?

That's great that you can see a difference in your hair after a week and a half. I have extremely dry hair and I've been looking for a shine booster. I really don't do blow outs. So I would like to use the product for the air dry method. I've also been wanting to try doing a roller set on my hair.

I'm not sure that there is a leave Rivas Silicon Mix Conditioner but can you please tell me about it.

There is a Silicon Mix Conditioner and then a Silicon Mix Leave-In. The one everyone talks about on here is the actual conditioner that you have to rinse out.

I have some and can't tell you how I use it because I just got it the other day.. but how I plan to use it is as a deep conditioner under the dryer for 15 minutes. HTH

I just checked out sickbay.biz and saw that they also carry a leave in conditioner. I think I'm gonna try the conditioner that you can rinse out. I can't wait for the product to be in stock. Just sent out an email, might have to pm MissJetsetter!!

I'll probably use the product the same way as you do. I wish you the best of luck with this silicon mix. What benefits are you looking to gain from this product?

I really just want that extra shine in my hair. I hope this product works well and can be used a possible staple product.

Oh, how often do you plan on using this product?

I'll probably use it every other week (alternating this with miss key 10 en 1).
All I expect is for my hair to be moisturized.. I'm not looking for blinging shine or anything like that because I have other ways of acquiring that..

I have use it as a co wash and deep conditioner noticed a difference with just one use it's definitely a keeper.

This product line is intriguing me. I have been checking back with sickbay because I was hoping to try the entire Silicon Mix Line based on the raves I have read here.

I have used Salerm 21 and Lacio Lacio. I thought Salerm 21 was the bomb until I tried Lacio Lacio -- now I prefer the Lacio Lacio leave in better (especially for rollersets)

I was wondering for those you have used all three products (Salerm 21/ Lacio Lacio/ Rivas) -- how do they compare for you?

TIA (I have been trying to curb my PJism - but it gets hard sometimes)

Yeah, I'm totally with you on that!! I can't wait for them to have the product line in stock.

I've never used Lacio Lacio or Salerm 21 for a roller set. But I've used both product in other ways. I will agree with you on the fact that I like Lacio Lacio better than the Salerm 21. In my opinion, Lacio Lacio is a better produc. I use it as a leave in conditoner, it works wonders for my hair. Definately keeps my hair moisturized.

I wish I could help you, but you'll probably need someone who's used the 3 leave ins to give you the most accurate comparison. I've used Lacio Lacio as a leave-in and to do roller sets....I love it. I also love the Rivas Silicon Mix Conditioner (not the leave in). They're both excellent products, but they're used differently. I can say that Lacio Lacio weighs my hair down if I use too much.

I have used all three and from my experience Salerm 21 and Lacio Lacio makes my hair soft when wet but it tends to be dull once it dries. and they both weight my hair down. THe silicon Mix makes my hair soft but leaves my hair very shiny after and does not weight my hair down.

I used the shampoo and was surprised how it made my newgrowth soft I used the whole Silicon Mix line.
Some other dominican shampoo like 10 en 1 made my hair dry and harsh.
Once again what works for one may not work for others.
I have tried all three leave in Lacio Lacio,Salerm 21 and Silicon mix and Lacio Lacio still works best for my hair.

Thanks for all of the responses. As soon as sickbay gets some in stock I plan on checking out the line. I will be sure to do a review. :)
