Can you use silicon mix on henna'd hair?

I've been hearing very good results about silicon mix. Two questions:

Can you use silicon mix on henna'd hair?

How does silicon mix benefit the hair?

I've seen it used every kind of way on here.

Some use it for deep conditioning, other pre-poo with it, some use a little as leave in. And yes, it can be used on henna'd here.

The main benefits seem to be moisture and slip along with smoother, silkier, bouncier hair. There's loads of raves about this product.
