this sounds crazy, however, I always shampoo in the shower, I suds up 1 time, unless I am clarifying, and consider myself done, is their a time minimum one should spend doing the sudzing thing,:perplexed inquiry minds wanna know

I was wondering that to, like if there is an optimal amount of time one should shampoo. I try to get in 5-10 minutes of scalp massage between the shampoo and conditioner.

I do the same thing. I suds up once, rinse, and then move onto my conditioner.
When I clarify I lather once with the clarifying shampoo, rinse, lather once with a moisturizing shampoo, rinse, then condition.
I lather for a minute or 2.

Sounds like my routine. Sometimes I may suds up twice. If I am CO wash I will suds up twice. I also leave the conditioner in and wash my body and then rinse the conditioner out.
