How do you search and destroy with short hair?

How do you (the ones with shoulder length and shorter) s&db Yal ends because I can't see how Yal can bring the back of your hair to the front, it would be too short to see the ends, so how do you s&d your ends. Even with cbl I can see it being a challenge bringing hair from the back to the front and seeing it. So what's your method, does someone help you or you just don't do the back? Because I know being wl and bsl would be a breeze . Thanks in advance!

When I'm doing s&d I'm feeling for SSKs. I don't need to see them, I can feel them. So I twist my hair into small sections and handle each twisted section one at a time.

But as Lamaria said, you can use a mirror. You can see all of your hair in a mirror at CBL.
