How do you seal your hair?

I know this might seem like a silly question, but how exactly do you seal your hair? What do you do step by step.

I apply leave in (Giovanni or Hang straight)
a bit of moisturizer (Elasta QU Mango Butter)
and seal with whatever oil I grab first (usually Amla, Jojoba or Monoi oil)

no, I just put the product in my hands and work through my hair. I tried it once doing it in sections and I got a little heavy handed
