How do you make your bun?

I'm not sure if this is correct, but my hair is about chin length and I make my bun with two ponytail ouchless elastics. I first put the hair into a fairly loose ponytail and then (after oiling the ends) tuck the ends under by a circular twist around the ponytail. I then secure the bun with the other elastic. Is this how you guys do it? Tell me your method...i don't want to cause any unwanted breakage!!

Yeah, you can do it that way. After moisturizing, i also put on a ouchless elastic thingy. I then either braid the ponytail or twist it, then just wrap it around and add the scrunchie. Nothing technical, LOL! Just like in high school. There's also a sock bun tutorial if your interested.
