How do you make air dried hair BLING?

I air dry my hair twice a week in a pony. The problem is when the hair is completely dry it is dull looking.

After washing I apply a creamy leave in, ORS olive oil (jar) and oil sheen.

Tell me what you do to make your air dried hair get its SHINE ON with out using heat.

Some sort of shine serum would probably help. I can't recommend any though; I don't use them.

After I wash and DC, I add a creamy leave in and seal with oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Then I sit under my hooded dryer for about 30 minutes, and airdry overnight. This leaves my hair nice & shiny.

after i get out of the shower i towel dry, split my hair down the middle and make two big two strand twists. then i towel dry the twists and coat the twists and the top of my head with Profective Break free or Qhemet Alma (sp?) & Heavy creme, tie my hair in a satin scarf and when i get up in the morning it is nice and shiny.

Hmmm....are you moisturizing your hair well. I know when I first joined the site my hair was simply THIRSTY( look at my siggy) so I began moisturizing my hair daily and INHALING water. Remember it begins internally then shows results externally.

Now for a quick fix that I LOVE to use once a week is Garneir Fructis Shine Serum as well as ORS Olive Oil Moisturizing Serum BOTH ARE GREAT!! :) Hope this helps.

Some type of oil will really help. Coconut oil, WGO, or Oyin's Burnt Sugar Pomade give me that bling bling shine!

bgsix you natural? I also have this problem. I think it has to do with being natural.

No, I am relaxed. I dunno about this, 'cause Pokahontas is natural & she gets bling by adding oils per her post above.

I think I will experiment with serums and oils.
