I plan on getting cornrolls as a protective style for two months and to keep a protective syle and give my hair a rest so wat should i do when i get the cornrolls
wat kind or regimine should i have and wat products and wat not to use during this time
Thank You

I normally just spray my hair with braid sheen and once every two weeks I use the water- less shampoo to take away the buildup. You don't want to put to much stuff in your hair when you have braids because it wil build up on you.
Hope this helps.

Well. I'm sorry, but I do the total opposite. I wash my cornrolls 3-4 times a week, use a lot of oils, sprays and products. I actually don't have hardly any build up at all. I keep my cornrolls in for about 4 to 5 weeks and I treat it like my regular hair and sometimes better. I grow 1 to 1 1/2 inches of hair in my braids so I think I'm doing very well. My main products are ORS Carrot oil, uplifting shampoo and braid spray; Surge; Cream of Nature shampoo; Aubrey Organics GPB. These are my main ones but I use others here-and-there. I also just started using an mixture of rosemary, peppermint, basil and jojoba oil on my hair which has done very well. I do a lot of different things, but I guess it doesn't really matter for my braids because I wash so frequently. I take many supplements and thats about it. Without cornrolls I don't think I would have reached soome of my goals as quickly. Hope this helps.

Now. another thing cornrolls for two months>?? WOW that is a long time. Thats unless you plan to not do any washing or anything heavy. But cornrolls for me get frizzy in like the first 2 weeks. Oh well. I really don't where them for the style, but just something to think about.

I do basically the same thing Hairfanatic01 does. The only difference is that I don't use conditioners that rinse out. I apply ORS Shea Butter Lotion instead.

Mine get frizzy within a few days but I still keep them in for at least 2 weeks and sometimes 3.
