Okay I think the reality of transitioning is hitting me. I am 13 weeks post relaxer and i thought that it would be cute to have some flat twists in the front of my head. so i washed my hair and twisted the front part. i sat under the dryer and when i was done my twists were puffy

so i sprayed water on them and took them out. can someone give me some tips on getting my twists to stay flat?

I was doing a search and found this:

Hummm...the only way I can explain is...I twist my hair all the way to the end making sure its tight, then I wind the hair around the base of the flat twist ... like a bantu knot. Then I tie my hair up with a satin scarf. My hair is shoulder length - and they still hold pretty well. I have also used sponge rollers w/end papers.

hope that makes sense...
