How do you find a church home?

I have had it with my church and am looking for a good COGIC church or even a non denominational church that runs along the Pentecostal lines. I've been praying about it and I really hate visiting churches and I dare not participate in the offering until I find out what kind of ground it is. What is your search criteria? How do you find a church home?
