I would like to do sew-in extensions before vacation next month. Who has (or who do you know has) maybe a fotki with instructions on how to do it myself? Mainly how to do the actual sew part, what tools to buy, and how to take them out later. And I hear that vertical braids are better for your hair, also??

Thank you!

I just did a full sew in 2 days ago....

I was inspired by a thread I had ran across a couple of days ago...I'll try and find it for you...

You need...a sewing needle, hair thread, and a cap...I think thats about it...thats all I used....

I'll try and find the thread for you...

ETA:...oh yeah...of course you need the hair...

Do a search for RabiaElaine's Weave Regimen. She explains everything in detail and I did my friend's weave based on her method and it came out really nice.
