Click on my name and check out my web site (under the roller set link). Scroll down to the bottom and you will see a picture of a spiral set (WITH the rollers). HTH. IMO, it's really not hard to do at all.
I've tried spiral setting with those rollers before (like in the pink rollers picture) but I can never get mine to actually "stay" when I bend them. Are you able to do this? What I ended up doing was putting tiny butterfly clips to hold the ends and tops of them. (Unfortunately, they started to melt while under the try and started falling off but it worked ok.) Not sure why I can't get the bend to hold when I use them.
Yes, I was able to make the rollers stay by bending them. It's sort of like bending the into a candycane shape. However, I don't do spiral set any more (it's been a while since I last did one).
