How do you delete a group?

I started a social group a while back and only got 1 member. How can I delete this group? Do I have to go thru Administration?

When you click on "Groups" at the top of the screen you should see a list of groups you started and just click on delete.

I tried that, but it won't delete!

I have tried the same thing plus, I tried to transfer my admin rights (no one took it).

Is there an alternative?
