I usually deep condition for 20-30 minutes with heat. Then let it sit for another 10-20 minutes without heat.

Whenever I try to condition overnight I end up with tangles and a stress headache. I don't think my hair likes this....

Now, when I do overnight conditioning, I apply the conditioner to freshly shampooed hair and put my hair into about 6 fat twists, and cover with a plastic cap (which I cover/tie down with a scarf). I find that the twists w/ conditioner cuts down on tangles when rinsing in the a.m. whenever I do overnight conditioning.

If I don't do overnight conditioning, I'd just apply conditioner to freshly shampooed hair and put on a plastic cap for 20+++++++ (whenever I remember to rinse it out) without the twists. I use heat sometimes; I'd use it more but I get lazy.

when i overnight deep condition my hair loves it. but its cold now so i just pre poo with oil and deep condition with heat for 30+ minutes.

I deep condition for 30 mins on dry hair with ORS Replenishing Conditioner and castor oil. SLIPPPPPPPP. :yep:
