How do you care for your hair under a weave?

I just started getting full sew-ins a few months ago. My hair is natural and when I take the weave out it comes out extremely tangled and dry. What can I do about this? Thank you!

Get a color applicator bottle or something similar and put a water soluble moisturizer in it and apply it in between the tracks to your hair. Just make sure it's something light so that it doesn't cause build up.

How long do you leave in the sew-in? How often do you shampoo? Do you detangle the hair before you shampoo? I keep my sew-ins for 2-3 months depending on how fast my hair is growing. i sweat in my scalp a lot from working out, so to avoid matting or tangling, I use open style bobby pins and stick them throughout my corn rows. Idk if this helps but this work for me.
