Hi again, as you can see since I registered I've got the posting bug!

How do you know what percentage relaxed your hair is? I get mine done at a salon with Affirm sensitive/no-lye and I think they mix it mild (mild-normal-resistant) as my hair is quite fine and takes very quickly. I've read some posts saying it's texlaxed (sp?) at 45-50% and some saying they relaxed it at 80% but this is all french to me. Can you help me out TIA! :D

I don't think there is a science to it, mine is just a good guess. I just look at my newgrowth coming in and then compare it to my telaxed hair. Then I guage it based on what it used to look like relaxed all the way straight (or basically what the last 2-3 inches of my hair looks like). My natural texture airdries tight and draws back to my scalp, my texlaxed hair airdries big but flatter in looser hanging waves- lots of texture. My bone straight hair would airdry pretty flat with some poof but no real texture.

I know my hair is somewhere in the middle of that natural range and bone straight, but a little bit looser than what I would consider half way. So I think 70-80% most accurately describes my situation.
