as opposed to setting a scheduled regimen? by the time i realize my hair needs more moisture or protein, its already started breaking. and just doin different stuff randomly will make me (even more) lazy.

Some people just get a feel for what their hair needs. I'm sort of in the middle of not having a routine and having one. :lachen: I don't have a routine, but I keep in mind what I need to do to my hair before the end of the month. For example, I wash my hair with shampoo once a month, but I don't consciously choose the day and time I'm going to do it, as long as I get it done within the month, I'm good. Same goes for my dc's and prepoos.

The key is also in paying close attention to your hair. If it feels even a little dry, moisturize immediately.

If you feel like you need a routine, create one, eveyone had to do what's best for them. If you don't think you will be attentive enough, then by all means, create a routine that will work best for your hair:grin:

i just stick to a sched. of doin things to prevent breakage, even if i dont need it. but those who listen to their hair seem to do less, which is what i wanna do. i think my strands are attention wh*res and always need something done to them:lachen:

and tanisha, you STILL aint told me who that guy is!!
