How do I ensure that my vitamins are being absorbed?

Taken with or immediately after a meal helps with absorption and cuts down on stomach upset and ugly side effects like headaches and sour stomach.:)

The main thing that I notice daily is my urine is bright yellow  from the B Complex, so I figure the rest are also being absorbed.

Yep, I was about to say check your urine. :yep:

Adding: If the color of your urine is 'rich' in color, you may not be drinking enough water. The color will probably be bright but it shouldn't look 'concentrated'.

I hope that makes sense.

I agree.

I take Super B Complex too. When I first started taking it, my urine was a bright orangy color. I wasn't drinking a lot of water back then. When I started drinking more water, my urine is just a very bright yellow or a normal urine color (like lemonade).

Also a good probiotic like Healthy Trinity is loaded with the good bacteria that helps break things down in your stomach along with the enzymes.

Take vitamin C daily and vitamin D 2-3/week those help the body absorb all the other vitamins.

taking a digestive enzyme with each meal will assist the breakdown of supplements and the food itself. not drinking for about 2 hours after eating will also help.

These are the enzymes i bought today.

I didn't know that. I thought you were supposed to drink a lot of water after taking them?

I've been taking my vitamins in the evening after dinner. I drink a good amount of water to get the vitamins down...but the majority of my water drinking is during the day while I'm at work. Is this ok?

can someone eloborate on taking sublingue vits, and how they work.
You put them under your tongue and it slow dissolves and goes straight to blood stream will feel results quick. I took B12 in the past for energy when I needed it and those purk me right up right away.

Another way to tell is to make sure you're taking a vitamin from a reputable, well known manufacturer. Something like One a Day or Centrum, for example. Those brands had higher absorption rates, vs. generic alternatives.
