if your hair is overprocessed? I ask because my hair just dont feel right. I got a corrective relaxer back in April this year then waited 16 weeks for a touch up on my new growth, which didnt take. I waited another month and did another touch up which also didnt take. So now I'm just waiting till December before I put in anymore chemicals. I just started doing weekly keraphix treatments. I was doing them before only twice a month. My hair feels rotten, if that makes any sense. What else can I do, I have the Nexxus emergencee treatment but am scared to use it weekly because its a stronger protein that Karaphix. Sumbody pleazzz hep a sista out. Tell me what I did wrong and how can I fix this mess. Thanks ladies. /images/graemlins/kiss.gif /images/graemlins/rosebud.gif

Take a strand of hair, attempt to stretch it. If it snaps immediately, then that's a sign - loss of elasticity.

Short brittle pieces all over the counter when combing is another sign. Shedding without white bulbs (breakage), yet another.

i think your main problem is your hair not taking, which is causing you to keep adding chemicals more frequently to try to correct the problem. which relaxer have you been using? the same thing has been happening to me, but my hair hasnt turned on me yet though. prob cause i've been doing protein treatments every week using affirm 5 in 1 after the last relaxer when i was getting alot of breakage.
