If you have fine hair? My sister braided my hair the other night and she said my hair isn't as thick as it seems and she said i have medium fine hair.

What does having fine hair really mean?erplexed I have A LOT of hair...but its not thick?

if you take a strand of your hair and look at it through a light you can tell your hair is fine if its thin and very light(almost transparent). coarse hair is very thick and no light can pass through it. medium is inbetween the two. also fine hair can be weighed down & manipulated easily.

Well then i guess i have medium hair then....bc i can see it in the light but its kinda hard to see.

Compare a strand to a piece of thread. Mine is wimpy compared to the thread I get a lot of product build up though and have to clarify often.

I think if you put your hair in a ponytail and the diameter is like 1-2 inches you have fine hair. I read that somewhere. I have very thin hair...I can't do anything with it

My ponytial is like 2 1/2-3 inches in diameter.
