How are the 12 inch in 12 month challengers doing?

Hey Lakettab!
I usually do an update thread around this time every month but there aren't alot of the original challengers responding. The thread usually dies out pretty quickly and probably before everyone gets a chance to respond. Maybe I should bump the update threads for a few days to get it more exposure.
I have accepted the fact that I will not gain all twelve inches by december but I am still doing my usual things to help maximize my growth so maybe I can get 8 or nine inches in 12 months. That is possible for me.
I don't know how long my hair is right now 'cause It has been braided up all summer. Hopefully when I take these down I will have a pleasant suprise!

Same here.
I'm surprised at how big my afros/puffs have gotten lately, which is definitely a good sign. I started with about 7 - 9 inches of hair in December/January, and now I have about 9 - 12 inches of hair. I'm progressing fairly nicely, even for a chick who just had to give in and give herself a "dusting." I'm thinking my growth will speed up some more before the summer's over. Lord knows we've been having some HEAT
