I been gone for a good minute. My hair has paid the ultimate price. I hope that with your help I can reach my goal by the end of the year. It is my 2 years anniversary since finding LHCF. Right now, I am heading for month 4 no perm, wash once a week, no vitamins, oil once or twice a week, mostly protective styles. That's it.....Nothing special. I am not obsessive about my hair any more. I fell out of love with it. I want to be in love with it. Like a newbie who quickly turns product junkie.....I miss the excitement of it all, when I use to check this website 10-20 times per day and read the same thing over and over again. Buying everything, that someone mentioned worked for them, hoping it would work for me. How do you get that high again? Has anyone felt like that, someone who has been here over a year?

Anyways, I am back again.

As soon as I see some hair that I want to aspire to, I start studying regimens and products. Keeps that high going day in and day out.

Welcome back!!

Welcome back!

My excitement has been with me since I started. It's continues to be fun.

It's just like with any goal or desire in life - it is exciting to start and even more exciting to watch it unfold before our eyes. :rosebud:

I believe it's up to us to keep feeding the fire, so to speak, using our imagination, sharing our successes, reading about other member's tips, journaling about our hair goals, "seeing" in our mind's eye exactly what we want (never what we don't want), discovering new and improved ways to achieve our goals, appreciating the achievements we have made, being truly grateful for the hair we have at any stage and making sure it is always a joyful journey. :)

Welcome back!

I have to spend time with my hair when I start to fall out of love with it. Just a whole day or weekend of me and my hair...pre-poo, shampoo, treatment, DC, leave-in...touching it and really feeling it. Like now, I can't stop touching it. If I had a man, that's probably how I'd be with him...

Welcome Back!! Four Month Stretch?? Good for you! Are you stretching or transitioning? Dont worry, you will catch the sprit again in no time!

Welcome back :). Get back in the groove by setting new goals for your hair and challenging yourself. If your goal was length before, try focusing on volume/thickness and styling options or vice versa. I sufferred a setback after one year of hair growing which placed me right back at square one :(. This time around I am exploring simple, low maintenance styles. Less PJism and finding a suitable product line that I works for my hair (I think I've found it).

Be inspired and know that you continue to inspire others as well. Take care .

I agree. There are so many ladies who inspire me just by sharing their hair albums. i have been seriously lacking on the hair care routinue but I have looked at some of the albums and it makes me want to get on my grind again. hopefully, the same will happen to you. :)
