Hot oil treatment

Is there a hot oil treatment that can be used that you don't have to shampoo out? Every one I use I have shampoo afterwards to get the oil out. It seems like it's defeating the purpose of the oil.

I mix my hot oil w/ my conditioner, then rinse as you would if you were only using the conditioner. I've never done this when wearing my hair down (may weigh it down too much).HTH
