Hello Ladies,
Relatively quick question tonight...tommorow afternoon I am going to have a very talented friend relax my hair with an at home relaxer (Gentle Treatment by Johnson&Johnson for 3 years- I have fine hair so this works better for me than salon relaxers anyway). I don't really like going to shops because they always manage to burn me or cut to much of my hair when they trim it. Anyhoo, the ends of my hair are really, really, really dry. I was wondering if I had her relax my hair, after we throroughly wash the perm out, would it be okay to give myself a hot oil treatment (w/ hot six oil) and then follow with a regular (Motions) shampoo and (Motions) conditioner? I know that petroleum and other heavy oils can retard the relaxer and even though the hot six oil has none of that in it, I was just making sure I wouldn't end up reversing the relaxer. Thank u much ladies!!!!!!
