Too bad that happened to you. Now, hopefully you will stay away and not give her another chance to ruin your hair. I'm sure you will find lots of good information to help you with progress. Ok this is how it all began .I didn’t have long hair when I was a kid .however, I had a lot of it ,which I hated cause it was always so hard to manage ,but it was always breaking ,that always had been my main issue.
3 years ago my cousin hooked me up with a stylist she knew ,for the first two year she took good care of my hair ,it was still breaking ,but I gained a lot of length ,she convinced me that getting a trim after every relaxer was the best way to stop the breakage and grow my hair ,and ignorant as I was I trusted her ,my hair did grew while I was going to her but the breakage never stopped.
For some odd reason in July 05 she decided to cut my hair without my permission ,I thought she gave me my regular trim and the next morning I found out she cut the back of my hair from apl to shoulder length and the front NECK length ,I was so upset I cried for hours and ended up not going to church(sorry God) ,my mom didn’t know what to say finally she was like “the short cut goes with you its beautiful” and it was true everybody was complimenting my new haircut ,so I was like fine it’ll grow back .
I tried other stylists but they did nothing but jack up my hair even more ,so I went back to her she was doing good until she put a relaxer in my hair that ended up eating all my hair out ,I went from full thick hair to a seethrough mess all my friends were like what happen to your hair ,I was so embarrassed that I told them I was the one who wanted to cut it .
Its getting worse. For my birthday I went to get a perm ,I bought my own this time ,and she insisted so much that I get a trim ,I was like no you can leave it like that I don’t mind ,she was like no you need it that’s the reason your hair is in the condition it is I was like yeah right then I was like fine just a trim ,I watched her every movement with the scissors and I thought she didn’t cut that much until one day while I was trying to figure out why my hair was so thin in the back and discovered that she had gave me a bobby cut in the nape area its not even the nape its more than that .That’s when I realize she was trying to jack up my hair on purpose and just didn’t want me to have long healthy hair

in the first pic you can see how short she cut the back of my hair ,thank god its growing in pretty nicely ,the second is the length of my hair in a ponytail its a lot longer since i joined lhcf thank you guys for all the good tips now i finally can stop going to that witch for good ,i dont have my hair pics before this tragedy happened but i will be posting pic of my hair out soon .i hope to grow my hair back to apl in march for my 18th birthday ,i know its not gonna be as full as it used to be but it'll look like smthng i just wanted you guys to know that i appreciate the wonderful work you are doing in this site and that you all like big sisters to me.thank you

Have you been using any protein reconstructors? Is your hair getting enough moisture, too?

I am so sorry this happened to you. I can definitely sympathize with how you felt because I remember that back in 2004, I'd gone to the beautician to get my hair relaxed and she started trimming without my permission, and she cut at least two or three inches off my hair and I was so disappointed when I got home that I just cried and cried. So all the new growth I had gotten just went down the drain (I hadn't relaxed in months because I was in college and got too caught up in my studies to worry about relaxing and trying to keep up with my hair, and this was before I started self relaxing). I cannot STAND scissor happy stylists.

im gonna do my first aphogee treatment tonight well see what happens ,yes ive been moisturizing twice a day now and sealing with an oil
