some people have said that glycerin can dry your hair out in the winter months because it's a humectant.

have you found the same to be true about honeyquat? or not so much?
do you eliminate honeyquat from your mixes in the wintertime?

i was just reading some of your reviews about it and i've been thinking about giving it a go (along with silk amino acids) for a little while now...and i think i'm almost ready to actually dive in.

This is a good question...i would like to know too.

I think it would be okay to use in the winter. A lot of members do honey rinses in the winter and use honey in their conditioners....

^^^^It's a liquid humectant(hydroxypropltrimonium honey) moisturizing agent that can be purchased at lotioncrafter. Many (includung myself) use it in their home-made moisture spritz.

Glycerin can dry your hair out in the winter months because it can draw moisture out of your hair if there is little to no humidity( which is more likely to occur in the winter months). I have used honeyquat for about 5 months. I bought the HQ because the site said it was like 3 times more moisturizing then glycerine. I like that it is not as nearly as sticky as my glycerine mix, but it may be because I don't have to use as much. I also add SAA to my mix, and I am happier with it than anything else I've bought out of the BSS yet. This winter will be a trial and error for me.
