i tried numerous searches about this store and the most i could gather is they have fantastic customer service and a sale that ends this month

currently i am looking for an conditioning styling product (somewhat like miss jessie's curly pudding) but is cheaper. honeyfig has some items that are conditioning styling products but i am unsure how they work and unfortunately this time in my life i can't afford too much trial by error.

i figure IF the products are gonna be worth it i can stock up now and ditch some of the other expensive stuff i have been using

any help you can give is great.

I order from them alot. They aren't too far from my house actually. But which product are you eyeing specifically? I can see if I can help. I have tried some miss jessies products, Long lovely locks, lacio lacio and some blended beauty products. There customer service is pretty good, they even remember my name when I call with questions. You can also email them with questions about their products, they might get back to you the same day.

I had an interview with one of the people from HoneyFig about their store. They are very particular about what they sell. Try Hamadi and Phytospecific brands. Long Lovely Locks is good, too, and the products are on sale.

the products i was eyeing was:

Blended Beauty Curl Styling Butter
Blended Beauty Happy Nappy Styles
Long Lovely Locks Curly Custard

I just ordered a seamless comb, some Miss Keys 10 in 1 and Lacio Lacio from them LAST NITE!! I'm glad everyone is saying good things. :yep:

The curly styling butter is great. It smells like vanilla bean, I usually never like the smell of vanilla, but theirs smells fresh. It's a bit thicker than miss jessies buttercream, so it gives a bit more definition. Happy Nappy is probably to thick for 3C hair though. I have 4a and it leaves a white film on my hair that I really need to rub in, and it doesn't give any definition (gives moisture, but eventually dries). It has an almost wet paste like consistency. Sorry I haven't tried the Long lovely locks curly custard. I was going to, but after trying their coconut sublime, and curl definer gel I stopped buying them. The coconut sublime spoiled I think. It began to separate and smelled bad to me.

my hair is dry and expands outward so it loves heavier stuff but the white film comment worries me. thanks for your help :)

I love Honeyfig! I order from them quite often. And if you think the Happy Nappy might be too thick, try the Butter Me Up from Blended Beauty :yep:

Oh I am so glad you posted this question. I also just ordered from them I couldn't pass up the sale. Plus I like the fact that they have a lot of trial sizes to choose from.

just wanted to say that i did try this and my hair loves it. smells and feels great on my hair. it appears to be more of a heavy moisturizer than styling cream but if you spritz your hair with water it does become more of a styling cream

i am not a fan of wetting my hair because of shrinkage issues but as my hair gets longer i do feel like i can afford to use some water once in awhile

I just ordered from Honeyfig the other day and I should have my package today or tomorrow.

I ordered the silk scarves and pillowcase, a shower cap and some Jane Carter Nourish Cream (a creamy version of the Nourish & Shine).

I can't wait! Thanks to LHCF, I am able to find out about quality products and the sites that sell them!

I just wanted to chime in and say I love the honey fig store. There customer service is great. I am going there tommrow to buy some darcys botanicals and other goodies since they are having a sale. If you are into gel type products you could try kinky curly curling custard (I add a little oil to mine and use small amounts I get no cruchiness) With the happy nappy syles I use it for twists in combination with Jamaican black castor oil and I dont get any white film on my hair. My hair I think is 4a and b.

I was just there 2 days ago. I bought 2 curls products. There were lots of new treats but I didn't want to go overboard. I'm going to the states this week, I'll probably shop more there. Honeyfig is such a neat little boutique like store. I wish there stuff was a little cheaper though.

Nvm shipping was $15.00 for 1 product, from the wisconsin boutique:ohwell: shh.

Dang!!! They can go 'head with that!!! :nono:

ETA: I used to order from them all the time and I don't remember the shipping being so much. With two items, my shipping would have been 14.27, or 13.00 for ground.
*I wasn't actually buying, La, just checking* lol
