Homemade garlic treatment burning

In a food processor i blended about 5 pieces of garlic with olive oil, garlic oil, some cheapy left over hair treatment and a little mayonaise (just for fun) and applied the mixture to my scalp and hair and sat under the dryer for 20 min. It tingled really bad.
Is it suppose to feel this way on my scalp??

Raw garlic does sting. I asked my dad about this because I have some flax and garlic crackers that are strong and you can feel a slight stinging on your lips. He grows garlic and he said if you bite into a raw garlic clove it does have a kick to it. Just like onions. So yes, you probably were feeling the garlic tingling.

I too can attest that garlic has quite a kick too it. I sometimes throw in fresh garlic into my chicken noodle soups when I have a cold/flu and its spicy on the tongue and warms up the chest. You might want to take it down a notch the next time!
