I know that there was a thread about how Haitian women have long hair recently and one of the things that was mentioned was bone marrow. I found this recipe for a bone marrow treatment and wondered if any of you knew of any other homemade Bone marrow recipes. Here is the one I found on the web:

Bone Marrow Treatment for Falling Hair #100222
This was posted by Rima Soni in the Weekend magazine in response to a person who was loosing alot of hair and practically going bald. This treatment improves the hair condition, nourishes it and makes it rich. I hope it works for those whose hair is bidding them goodbye these days;)
1 tablespoon marrow
1 tablespoon coconut oil or almond oil
1 tablespoon castor oil

Bone marrow is available at the butcher.
To make this treatment, mix everything together in a bowl.
Warm this mixture on low flame.
Massage it into the scalp.
Leave it on overnight.
Do this 2 to 3 times per week OR every alternate day.

I wonder where you get bone marrow from?

According to the post, from your butcher/meat market.

This is good info, thanks.

You're al welcome. I look forward to hearing about more recipes. I think that the recipe that I spoke about calls for real bone marrow from the butcher shop. I would go for beef bone marrow.
