Hello Ladie,
I need to know what I can do to cover some recently done highlites in my hair. The color came out way to bright and now I just want to tone it down to a normal shade of brown. The sytlist didn't use bleach, though she did use a foil method with permanent hair color.
any suggestions/advise would be greatly apprecated.

Hi lady,
I had my color done at an AVEDA salon in Virginia Beach 03 Aug 2010, the stylist did my base as dark brown level 3 and I wanted like caramel hi-lights but they came out too light like a warm blond still too much contrast for the dark brown base so I called him back the next day to get it toned down. He did it with a demi permenant 3 shades lighter than my base color on top of the hi-lights. It's suppose to last for about 24 shampoos but it still look good now, at least I didn't get charged extra. Hope this helps. HHG
