HIGH/"BIG" FOREHEAD LADIES...

For of those of you with pictures of yourselves, I don't see the big foreheads you're talking about.

...notice our heads are either cut out of the pic or ever so slightly turned to the side so as not to catch the direct profile view. Lord, years of taunting takes years to erase!

Signing in :whyme:

but...since going natural I've gotten the most comments on how it makes my features stand out...sorta like a regalness.

Does anyone have issues with break-outs when they wear a fringe?

I am not really sure what a fringe is, but when I wear my hair swooped to the side, or if the hair is on my forehead for an entire day yes, I will indeed get some red bumps on my forehead.
This is another reason why I keep my hair off my forehead.

CHECKING IN!!!

they measured my head in high school - lo and behold i had the biggest one....lol

(my sister won that title 2 years later...):lachen:

OK...They used to call me HEADICUS in school:lachen::lachen::lachen:!

Not only does my hairline start far back, but I have a widow's peak to go with it!!

When I was younger, I ALWAYS covered, then I had a gay stylist to call me out about wearing bangs all the time. You can never go wrong with a gay man's advice:grin:.

He said my facial features were too strong to cover up my head and that I should bring attention to my face, so I tried it and got lots of compliments. I don't think I will ever be able to wear my hair fiercely pulled back due to extreme hairline damage, but I've learned to work with what I got. Hey...Tyra got paid for her big forehead. Embrace it!!

I have a big forehead, but not a big head. It dosen't bother me, although I do look really good in hats/headwraps. I generally keep hair off my face as I want to keep my skin clear and not oily or blemished.

My father used to tell me the african princess thing too! That, and that high foreheads are an indcator of intelligence:grin:

I never really got teased about my forehead until highschool where this jealous *** ***** was complaining about her forehead and said mine was bigger.:ohwell: Then she went around measuring our friend's foreheads with her palms and she said mine was the biggest covering five 'o her fingers.:lachen:
A few people called me big head and stuff but mostly haters or guys I rejected.:drunk:
A friend once mentioned I had a big forehead and started laughing, but she was UGLY and no guys even looked at her and I KNOW she was jealous. I mean does a big forehead make you ugly..no, back in the 18th century that was the trend. We just have to wait until that trend comes around again.
I still wear side parts and never managed to wear my hair in a pony tail, it looks like I have NO hair on my head from the front view when I do that.:lachen:

I usually pull my hair back in a ponytail. Whenever I did that syle, I'd pull out a piece of hair to cover up part of my forehead. I used to be real self-conscious about it. When I have my hair out, I usually part it on the side, so a piece of hair covers the forehead. I used to want bangs to cover it. I don't really care now though, if I decide to show off my forhead, so be it.
